This layout is a bit complex. It follows my newspaper colour scheme but is nto simple like other newspaper adverts that normally follow the generic convention of keeping their adverts simple and to the point. There is a lot of unused space thoughtwhich can be reduced if the layout were changed.
The second layout proved to be more successful.
This layout has good use of space and isnt too complex as there is little colour. However more colour will be added when the images are slotted in. This layout also captivates the viewers attention with the use of images and finally draws their eyes down to the newspaper logo, slogan and website. It is also clearer because I know what image goes where. Overall it is a much better layout because of the how the viewer sees it and is drawn to the important information without being too vibrant and 'busy'.
